Why have I chosen Wishky as our brand? Well, that’s simple really, because it’s a play on words about what we do, what interests us, and it has been created for those that love their whisky, aspire to try something new and want to limit their financial risk.
Obviously whisky is spelt just so (unless you spell it - whiskey). In any case I spotted early on that with a slight tweak you get something different and unique but looks and sounds very similar. Just by hoping the ‘h’ from after the ‘w’ over to after the ‘s’ makes a new word, our brand and something that still relates to what is it we do and aspire to.
Just the other day I walked into our local catalogue based store and a lady commented on my branded t-shirt and said “I’ve never seen whisky spelt like that before”. This shows it works, it’s a unique name, but others still seem to know what we do.
By creating something new and unique made domain names and trademarks available, whilst keeping our name short and memorable. And to us anyway, it does exactly what it says on the tin, you may hear us say "we wish we could try"...
